Who I Am

I'm a software developer and technical writer. And somehow also an English tutor and IT handyman.

Education

I'm about to earn a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in technical communication from The University of North Texas. I'm attending part-time so I have the flexibility to explore and do things my way.

Last semester, I completed courses for algorithms and databases. I also started my senior capstone project, which I can't wait to share once it's more substantial.

Next semester is my final semester, and I'm taking

• digital logic
• intro to cybersecurity
• web programming

My current internship is building a new website for the University of North Texas's First Year Writing program.

Interests

I love doggos. I love coffee. Metalcore and post-hardcore are my jam, and my life goal is to be a force of change for accessibility and sustainability. Although I'm not one for TV, I'm currently hooked on Evangelion.

What I Do

I write efficient, readable information in the form of source code and text documents. I'm probably the only developer on the planet who wants to write documentation. (No, seriously.)

My Philosophy

My style is slow and thorough: I enjoy digging deep into problems and making long-lasting solutions that are easily maintainable by the people who will come after me.

Career Plans

I'd love a job where technical writing met software development, like API documentation writing. I'm pumped that my current internship combines web development and content authoring!

I dream of contributing to open-source projects like LibreOffice, GIMP, and Linux.
